The challenge
DRAFT: the rack and speakers set the width, so the screen had to be centred on that whole arrangement rather than on the wall, and mounted high enough to clear the centre channel sitting on top of the rack.
How we did it
Position marked and checked from the seating before drilling, then fixed into studs with the mount plate wide enough to reach solid timber from the centred position.
Result
Screen is centred on the equipment below it and level across a wide span.
