The challenge
DRAFT: the stone veneer and the mantel board above the firebox meant finding solid anchor points without cracking the stone, and routing cable down to the components on the hearth cleanly.
How we did it
Mounted through the stone into solid backing behind it, with the cable run planned to drop behind the mantel board down to the hearth below.
Result
TV sits level and centered above the mantel. Final cable dressing and cleanup happen after the mount itself is secure, which is the stage caught in this photo.
